West Java Police Detain 2 Suspects In The Dago Elos Land Counterfeiting Case

The Directorate of General Criminal Investigation (Ditreskrimum) of the West Java Police has detained two suspects in the case of falsifying Dago Elos land documents on Jalan Ir H Juanda (Dago) on behalf of Heri Hermawan Muller and Dodi Rustandi Muller.

The Head of Public Relations of the West Java Police, Kombes Jules Abraham Abast, said investigators had received a notification from the West Java High Prosecutor's Office (Kejati) that the Dago Elos land dispute case was complete or P21.

"We have detained both of them in connection with the Dago Elos case since yesterday, July 18, 2024," Jules said as quoted by ANTARA, Friday, July 19.

Jules said that both of them were suspected of violating Article 263 paragraph 2 of the Criminal Code in conjunction with Article 55 paragraph 1 to 1 of the Criminal Code, or Article 263 paragraph 1 of the Criminal Code in conjunction with Article 55 paragraph 1 to 1 of the Criminal Code, or Article 266 paragraph 2 of the Criminal Code in conjunction with Article 55 paragraph 1 to 1 of the Criminal Code.

He revealed that the suspect and the evidence are planned to be handed over on Monday next week and he also asked the public to participate in overseeing the case thoroughly.

"It is planned that we will hand over the two suspects no later than Monday. We are currently coordinating with the prosecutor's office for the two suspects," he said.

Meanwhile, a resident of Dago Elos Ade Suherman who was the reporter for the alleged forgery of land documents expressed his gratitude to the police and hoped that the residents' hopes could be met.

"Thank you for our report received and handled, the case handled by the joint team of the Bandung Polrestabes and West Java Police can meet the expectations of the residents," said Ade.

Ade made a police report to the West Java Regional Police SPKT accompanied by a lawyer and a number of other residents, and the report was registered with LP/B/336/VIII/2023/West Java Police on August 15, 2023.
