Cak Imin Alludes To The Number Of Politicians But There Are Few Staters

DENPASAR - Chairman of the National Awakening Party (PKB) Abdul Muhaimin Iskandar alias Cak Imin alluded to the current phenomenon where many politicians have become statesmen.

The statesman in question is someone who has a clear vision about the future of the nation. Currently, according to him, a politician who is born must have the nature of leadership and statesmanship.

"Our political leadership must continue to be supported by leadership capabilities in accordance with the demands of the times and new challenges," said Cak Imin, Wednesday, July 17.

He conveyed this in the context of opening the Change Leadership School (Sespim) for members of the legislature from PKB who were elected in the 2024 Pileg in Bali, NTT, NTB, Maluku, and North Maluku. Through the school, according to him, PKB wants to produce politicians and statesmen.

Cak Imin emphasized that the Sespim Amendment must be followed by all PKB cadres elected in the DPR, Provincial DPRD, Regency/City DPRD.

The reason is, he wants legislators from PKB to play a role in the legislative body optimally. He hopes that the legislators can produce decisions that are beneficial to the people.

So according to him, the school program is the capital for legislators to be able to take part productively in the world of parliamentary politics.

"Well, this School of Change Leaders is one of the media to hone its leadership capabilities," he said.
