The East Jakarta Metro Police Satreskrim conducted a crime scene (TKP) at the 1947 District cafe located in the Duren Sawit area, East Jakarta, Wednesday, July 17, evening.

From VOI's observation at the TKP, the police collected a number of evidences from the scene which were strongly suspected of being used by the perpetrators to carry out acts of violence and confinement of the victim.

The tools are in the form of iron trash cans, stoves and iron benches. A number of these evidences were collected from a number of room points in the 1947 District cafe.

The police also processed the crime scene at a number of room points to the 2nd floor of the 1947 District cafe. The crime scene was attended by a number of units from the East Jakarta Metro Police to the scene.

Until 18:42 WIB, the TKP investigation team continued to carry out the East Jakarta Metro Police Satreskrim investigation team. Later, a number of these evidences will be confiscated to the East Jakarta Police.

Please note, currently the East Jakarta Metro Police Criminal Investigation Unit (Satreskrim) has investigated 6 people who were reported in connection with the case of confinement of a young man with the initials MRR (23) at a cafe in the Duren Sawit area, East Jakarta.

"For the reported parties reported to us, we have examined 6 reported people," said East Jakarta Metro Police Chief, Kombes Nicolas Ary Lilipaly when confirmed, Wednesday, July 17.
