JAKARTA - An An Antara news agency journalist was targeted by a mugging victim on the side of Jalan Letjen Suprapto, Johar Baru, Central Jakarta, Monday, July 15, afternoon. His Samsung Galaxy A71 cell phone was lost and snatched by the perpetrator.
It happened when the victim named Mentari was ordering an online motorcycle taxi at around 15.00 WIB. However, his cellphone which was used to order online motorcycle taxis was actually seized by the perpetrators.
From the victim's statement, after his cellphone was confiscated by the snatcher, he shouted a thief, but no one helped him. Until within seconds, the perpetrator managed to escape with his cellphone.
"The thief fled in the back past past the Gasoline POM (SPBU Galur)," he said.
