KPK Pansel: 107 People Register Capim, Dewas 87 Per Day

JAKARTA - Deputy Chairperson and Member of the Selection Committee (Pansel) for Candidates for Leaders (Capim) and the KPK Supervisory Board Arif Satria said 682 people had registered to register to this day, Friday, July 12. Of these, 107 of them wanted to run for leadership.

"As of 12.30 WIB today, 682 people have registered accounts. Then 107 applicants for KPK candidates. 87 candidates for the supervisory board," said Arif in a webinar organized by the KPK, Friday, July 12.

Arif believes this number can later increase until the registration period ends. "I am sure that until July 15 the number will continue to increase," he said.

"Because there are 682 people who have registered. This means that 682 are people who are interested in preparing themselves to register as candidates for the leadership or prospective KPK council," continued Arif.

Furthermore, Arif detailed that most of the KPK Capim registrants were men. While only two women

"Sela-laki-laki-laki-laki-laki 105 (orang, red)," he said.

Meanwhile, the distribution of the most registrants came from West Java with 28 people. "DKI Jakarta 19, East Java 11, Banten 10, Central Java 6, and the rest are still below 5," said Arif.

"Then for the candidates for the KPK Council, there are more women (there are, red) 11 and there are 76 men, with a total of 87," he continued.

Diberitakan sebelumnya, pendaftaran capim dan calon dewas KPK dibuka selama 20 hari, yaitu pada 26 Juni hingga 15 Juli 2024. Pendaftar harus terlebih dahulu membuat akun di laman https://apel.setneg.go.id/.

The enthusiast will go through the registration process and other stages of selection. Then, 10 names of candidates and 10 names of candidates for the KPK council will be submitted to President Joko Widodo to be forwarded to the DPR.
