Unair Chancellor Cancels Dismissal Of Dean Of FK Prof Bus

SURABAYA - Chancellor of Airlangga University (Unair) Surabaya Prof. Mohammad Nasih canceled the decision to dismiss Prof. Budi Santoso as Dean of the Faculty of Medicine.

Prof. Nasih said the cancellation of the dismissal decision was made after he received a letter from Prof.Bus, Prof. Budi Santoso's nickname.

"We can understand what ProfBus said. Because there is a reason for us to appoint him as the dean, so we will lift him back," said Prof. Nasih as quoted by ANTARA, Tuesday, July 9.

Asked about the basis for the dismissal of ProfBus, the Unair Chancellor was reluctant to explain in detail. He only said that currently his party is focused on Unair's future.

"That's the past, the important thing now is that we focus on the future for our beloved Unair," he said.

According to him, the dynamics that happened yesterday are normal, like a dating person who can suddenly break up.

"This is normal. So I see you, I'm dating, then what's the problem, suddenly breaking up, it's normal, right. So you don't have to play a role. But God willing, everything is okay, we have read the ProfBus letter and we have raised it back to the Dean of the Faculty of Medicine," he said.

The Professor of economic science at Unair emphasized that ProfBus starting Wednesday (10/7) will return to office as the dean.

"Tomorrow morning he will be able to return," he said.

Meanwhile, Prof. Bus is grateful that all the dynamics that have occurred have ended. He personally apologized for the noise that occurred to the Unair Chancellor.

"Alhamdulillah, everything has ended. I personally arrange an apology to the rector, maybe I intend to represent myself personally but maybe too much, so that the power to use the institution, this may be my fault," he said.

He is also grateful that the Chancellor of Unair has forgiven and given him the opportunity to return as Dean of the Faculty of Medicine.

"Alhamdulillah, the rector has forgiven and I have handed everything back to the rector," he said.
