Utut Adianto Concerning The Central Java Regional Head Election: PDIP Never Crosses With Jokowi, If It's Different, Yes, It's Fair

Deputy Secretary General of PDIP Utut Adianto emphasized that his party had never been against President Joko Widodo (Jokowi).

This was emphasized by Utut in response to the question of the candidate for governor of Central Java, Kapolda Inspector General Pol Ahmad Lutfi, who was said to be supported by President Jokowi. Jokowi is also considered to be against PDIP in the Central Java Pilkada.

Utut emphasized that PDIP is still a party supporting the Jokowi-Maruf Amin government. Even if there is different support for candidate candidates, according to Utut, it is natural.

"Once again, PDIP is still a government party. We are the party that carries the government, the main supporter and supporter. So this has not been withdrawn," said Utut, Wednesday, July 3.

Utut explained, regarding the nomination of regional elections, PDIP would certainly see field conditions as a form of consideration. Because it is related to who the candidate is right to contest in the area.

"Kalau pertimbangan lapangan tentu melihat kasus, jadi kalau bahasa Belanda-nya situasi. Situasi itu suami terkini. Jadi sekali lagi PDIP masih partai pendukung pemerintah. Kader kami masih 5 di pemerintahan. Jadi itu poinnya, dari satu pemikiran dan sikap muncul keputusan," kata Utut.

Utut also reiterated that PDIP was never against Jokowi. Just about the decision to support the candidate, PDIP has its own attitude.

"The decision is that we have never celebrated with Pak Jokowi if there are different candidates, it is natural because the beliefs are different," he said.
