TANGERANG - Police secured the driver of a Silver Suzuki Ertiga car with the initials PIN (25) who allegedly hit a motorcyclist with the initials CDP (15) to death on Jalan Aria Putra, Serua, Ciputat, South Tangerang (Tangsel), Tuesday, July 2.

Currently, the driver with police number B 1603 SMO is being investigated, in order to determine the legal status of the accident case.

"Still under investigation," said Head of Traffic Unit of South Tangerang Police, Ipda Justinus Yunus when confirmed in a short message, Tuesday, July 2.

Yunus explained that the cause of the accident was suspected to be because the Ertiga car driver was lacking in concentration and hit the motorcyclist in front of him.

"The concentration was reduced so that it hit. Due to this incident, the victim's sister suffered injuries to the head and died at the crime scene," he said

Meanwhile, for witnesses in the field, Mamat (65) said that at the time of the incident the driver was speeding up.

The car was speeding, because it was quiet. He was pushed from behind. The motorbike is both in one direction. Both of them from the direction of Jombang there," he said.

"I already gave the right light. Maybe the distance is close, he doesn't want to turn. So it's pushed, the motorbike also keeps going straight. So when it falls there, the victim doesn't move anymore," he added.

Mamat admitted that he did not dare to see the victim because his condition had wounds on his head and bleeding a lot.

"I crossed over to help, but saw blood, I came back again. Blood flowed from his head, I didn't dare," he admitted.

The car driver is said to have not fled after hitting the victim, and wanted to be responsible until the police arrived at the location.

Until finally the victim was evacuated, while the driver of the Ertiga car was taken to the South Tangerang Police Traffic Unit.
