TANGERANG - A woman named Suci Rahmawati alias Ratna is suspected of being burned by her husband with the initials S in front of her house on Jalan Irigasi, Cipondoh, Tangerang City.

Cipondoh Police Chief, Commissioner Evarmon Lubis said the action would occur on Sunday, June 30, evening.

"It was true last night. Around nine o'clock there was a domestic violence. Because the perpetrator and the victim were husband and wife," said Lubis when met in Cipondoh, Tangerang City, Monday, July 1.

Based on the examination of witnesses at the crime scene (TKP), the action was triggered by communication of misunderstandings, so that the husband was annoyed with the victim and then burned him.

Luckily, there were residents who helped by pouring water on the victim's body. After the blackout, Suci was taken to Sari Asih Hospital in Tangerang, for medical treatment.

"Maybe it's because of emotion, pouring gasoline around there. Draining his wife and burning his wife. And now his wife is in medical treatment," he said.

Information said that the victim suffered burns to his face.

"And the medical information, about 27 percent of the wounds. And her husband also caught fire around his elbow. His wife was injured at the top, on the face. While her husband was on his left arm," he said.

However, the police have not been able to follow up on the investigation because the victim is still under medical treatment.

"Waiting for better conditions, we will do further investigations," he said.
