Democrats Ask The DKI KPU To Immediately Implement The Constitutional Court's Decision Regarding The Chair Of The DPRD

JAKARTA - The Regional Leadership Council (DPD) of the DKI Jakarta Democratic Party has asked the General Election Commission (KPU) of DKI Jakarta to immediately implement the decision of the Constitutional Court (MK) after recapitulation in 233 polling stations (TPS) in Cilincing, North Jakarta. "The results of the re-voting recapitulation at the North Jakarta City KPU level stated that the seat belongs to the Democratic Party, so the Constitutional Court's decision must be implemented immediately by the DKI Jakarta KPU," said Head of the DPD Strategic Communication Agency (Bakomstra) of the DKI Jakarta Democratic Party, Taufik Hidayat when confirmed in Jakarta, Antara, Friday, June 28. According to him, from the results of the re-voting recapitulation, the Democratic Party received 25,010 votes and was above the Nasdem Party with 24,354 votes. He explained, from the previous disputed D result form, the Democratic Party votes received 24,993 votes under the Nasdem Party with 25,033 votes. "We remind all parties to respect these results in accordance with the final and binding Constitutional Court decision regarding the dispute over the election of the Constitutional Court's decision on the case 09-01-14-11/PHPU.DPR-DPRD-XXII/2024 which has been recapitulated for re-voting in electoral district 2 North Jakarta," he said. Secretary of the DKI Jakarta Democratic Party DPD, Firmansyah, said the struggle of Democratic Party cadres bore fruit even though many dynamics had to be passed. The DKI Jakarta KPU is holding a plenary meeting on the results of the re-voting recapitulation which states that the Democrat Party has received a seat in the Jakarta II Election Area. "There have been various dynamics that have been passed, finally the fruit of the struggle of the Democratic Legislative Candidate Neneng Hasanah was accommodated, the vote fraud has been proven in the Constitutional Court or at the North Jakarta KPU," he said. The decision was handed down to case No. 09-01-14-11/PHPU.DPR-DPRD-XXII/2024 which was submitted by the Democratic Party to fill out members of the DKI Jakarta Regional Electoral DPRD (Dapil) Jakarta II. The NasDem Party became the Related Party in the case.
