Bandar Arrested At OKU South Sumatra, 14 Packages Of Methamphetamine And 17 Pills Of Lion Logo Ecstasy Seized

Police Ogan Komering Ulu (OKU) in South Sumatra (Sumsel) confiscated 14 packages of methamphetamine from a dealer with the initials ME (55).

"The perpetrator was arrested at his home on Tuesday (June 25) at around 21.00 WIB," said OKU Police Chief AKBP Imam Zamroni in Baturaja, OKU, South Sumatra, Wednesday, June 26, confiscated by Antara.

He said ME, a resident of Gunung Liwat Village, Pengandonan District, OKU, is a drug dealer of methamphetamine and ecstasy pills that disturb the people in the area.

From the suspect's hands, the police confiscated 14 packages of methamphetamine with a gross weight of 7.45 grams and 17 yellow ecstasy pills bearing the lion logo.

"In addition, a digital scale unit was also found, a clear plastic clip and a mobile phone which was used as evidence," he said.

He explained that the arrest of the suspect was a follow-up to public reports that were restless with drug trafficking in OKU Regency.

The report was followed up with an investigation until members managed to pocket the name of the suspect who was suspected of being a dealer and immediately carried out a raid at his home.

Currently, he continued, the suspect and all evidence have been secured at the OKU Police Headquarters for further legal processing.

For his actions, the suspect was charged with Article 114 paragraph (2) subsidiary Article 112 paragraph (2) of Law Number 35 of 2009 concerning Narcotics.
