Convicts Who Were Fooled By The Kolaka Southeast Sulawesi Detention Center Officer Disguised As Women In Hijab Successfully Arrested

PALU - The Elang Anti-B Kolaka Criminal Investigation Unit (Polres) team together with the Kolaka Class IIB State Detention Center (Rutan) officers managed to arrest inmates (Napi) from the Class IIB Raha detention center who fled in Kolaka Regency, Southeast Sulawesi. Head of the Public Relations Section (Kasi) of the Kolaka Police, Iptu Dwi Arif, said the inmate with the initials SS (39) was arrested on Jalan Abadi, Kolakasi Village, Latambaga District, Kolaka Regency, Southeast Sulawesi Province, on Tuesday, June 25 at around 11.50 WITA. "The fire escaped from the Class IIB Raha detention center and ran in Kolaka," said Dwi Arif when contacted from Palu, Antara, Wednesday, June 26. During his escape from the detention center, SS outwitted the officer by posing as a woman and wearing a hijab, so the officers did not know. "In his escape, SS was arrested by the Anti-Bolaka Eagle Team who backed up the Kolaka Class IIB Detention Center," he said. Dwi Arif explained that before being arrested, SS had been on the wanted list or DPO after escaping from the Class IIB Raha Detention Center on Saturday (22/6), at around 18.15 WITA. "Based on the results of the investigation, it was found that the SS was hiding in Kolaka Regency, and the officers immediately followed up," explained Dwi Arif. He added that currently SS, who is a resident of Sakuli Village, Latambaga District, Kolaka Regency, was immediately taken to the Class IIB Kolaka Detention Center for further processing.

"It has been submitted and the process is to the Class IIB Kolaka Detention Center," added Dwi Arif.
