TANGERANG IS (22), the man who abused his girlfriend, AM (22) because he lost his cellphone when he was entrusted, tested positive for drugs. After further examination, AM is known to use methamphetamine.

"Yes, that's right (positive) methamphetamine or shabu," said the Head of the Pondok Aren South Tangerang (Tangsel) Police, Kompol Bambang Askar Sodiq, when confirmed by VOI.

Bambang explained that the examination was carried out according to standard operating procedures in the examination of the Investigation Report (BAP).

However, even though the suspect was positive for methamphetamine during the examination, the results of the information were still in line with the incident.

"Yes, according to the SOP, at the BAP, we will definitely do a urine test so that the statement is really valid, not chaotic because of the effects of drugs," he said.

Bambang explained that IS abused his girlfriend based on annoyance, because AM was accused of eliminating cellphones when entrusted.

"The perpetrator was annoyed, disappointed with his girlfriend for the reason of entrusting his cellphone, it turned out to be missing, that's all," he said

For his actions, the suspect was charged with Article 351 of the Criminal Code with a maximum threat of 5 years in prison.
