Rp 120 Billion For The 2026 West Java Sports Week Fund In Bogor City Questioned By The Council

BOGOR - Special Committee Team (Pansus) for the Draft Regional Regulation (Raperda) on the Reserve Fund for the West Java Province XV 2026 Sports Week, started discussions by holding a joint meeting with the Bogor City Government and Koni Bogor City.

The chairman of the Special Committee Team, R. Laniasari, revealed that based on the results of the inaugural meeting, there were several notes that the Bogor City Government needed to follow up.

First, Lania asked the Bogor City Government to update the Academic Script which was used as the basis for the formation of the Raperda. This is because the contents of the proposed Raperda are correlated with the discussion.

Lania also revealed that the Bogor City DPRD Special Committee Team wanted to ensure that the sports week reserve funds to be budgeted, budgeting portion and budgeting priority were in accordance with the Raperda discussed.

"So from the details of the budget that we are observing, the purpose of forming this regional regulation is to support facilities and infrastructure, but after we studied it, the use in this regional regulation only focuses on organizing events, so it is not appropriate between the contents of the regional regulation, academic texts and details of budget use," said Lania, Wednesday, June 19.

Second, Lania also asked the Bogor City Government to immediately complete the Detail Engineering Design (DED) for supporting infrastructure development. This is intended so that the project work process can be accelerated to cut time.

"Finally, we ask the City Government to reopen communication with West Java Province so that it is clear how much aid funds we receive, so this does not burden our APBD too much," said Lania.

To note, the budget proposed by the Bogor City Government for the implementation of the West Java XV Porprov in 2026 is IDR 120 billion. Later the budget will be used for the implementation of 32 sports (sports) and other needs.
