Jakarta's Third Worst Air Quality World Wednesday Morning

JAKARTA - Air quality in DKI Jakarta, citing data on the IQAir air quality monitoring site, on Wednesday, June 19 morning, is the third worst in the world.

Based on observations at 05.00 WIB, the air quality index (AQI) in Jakarta is at 177 with a smooth particle (particulate matter / PM) 2.5, which means it is categorized as unhealthy.

The city with the second worst air quality in the world is Delhi, India with an air quality index at 302, then in second place followed by Kinshasa, Congo at 251 and fourth followed by Kumpala, Uganda at 176.

Meanwhile, the Environmental Information and Hygiene System of the DKI Jakarta Provincial Environment Agency shows that the air quality in Jakarta is also in the unhealthy category.

The air quality category means that the level of air quality is detrimental to humans or groups of animals that are sensitive or can cause damage to plants or aesthetic values.

A number of areas monitored by the HI Roundabout (106), Kelapa Gading (116), Jagakarsa (127), Kebon Jeruk (136) and Lubang Buaya (106) were monitored.
