The Suspect In The Beating Of The Car Rental Boss In Sukolilo Increased To 10 People

Central Java Police Chief Inspector General Ahmad Luthfi said the number of perpetrators of the beating that killed the victim who is also the owner of a rental car in Sukolilo, Pati Regency, increased to 10 people.

"Last night four people were arrested, this morning two people," said Central Java Police Chief Inspector General Ahmad Luthfi, Antara, Saturday, June 15.

According to him, the six suspects followed the four suspects who had been arrested previously.

He said the police had sufficient preliminary evidence against the perpetrators.

He said the perpetrators who had been named as suspects had different roles, such as stopping vehicles, kicking, and hitting the victim with stones.

The Kapolda added that six suspects had only been arrested while trying to escape.

"Some were arrested in the forest, somewhere while fleeing," he said.

He emphasized that no mass group anywhere has the right to take police action against the alleged perpetrators of the crime.

The Regional Police Chief revealed that there are still a number of perpetrators whose identities have been pocketed but have not been caught until now.

"We have pocketed a number of names with sufficient preliminary evidence for forced efforts," he said.

For their actions, the suspects were charged with Article 170 of the Criminal Code regarding beatings that killed someone.

Previously, a rental car owner with the initials BH was thought to have died as a result of being abused by a group of people while taking a car that had not been returned in Sumbersoko Village, Sukolilo District, Pati Regency on June 6, 2024.
