JAKARTA - The Supervisory Board of the Corruption Eradication Commission (KPK) confirmed that it had received a report related to the confiscation of the cellphone of PDIP Secretary General Hasto Kristiyanto by investigators Kompol Rosa Purbo Bekti on Monday, June 11. They will read the basis for the complaint.

"It was studied first, I have received it," said Tumpak to reporters at the ACLC KPK building, Rasuna Said, South Jakarta, Tuesday, June 11.

Even so, Tumpak assessed that so far the confiscation had complied with the procedure. He said the Supervisory Board already knew because it received a notification.

However, he did not want to talk further because he would study the complaint. "Yes, I can't say yet. Yes, according to the order, there is a warrant," he said.

Previously reported, Ronny Talapessy, who is Kusnadi's attorney, PDIP Secretary General Hasto Kristiyanto, submitted a report to Police Commissioner Rosa Purba Bekti who allegedly violated the rules to the KPK Supervisory Board on Monday, June 10.

He said, Rosa was unprofessional because she confiscated items from her client without following the applicable rules. Ronny explained that his client seemed to be framed by investigators during the search which led to the confiscation. This is because Kusnandi, who is in the lobby of the KPK's Red and White building, Kuningan Persada, South Jakarta, was asked to rise on the grounds that Hasto was summoned by Hasto, who was undergoing examination as a witness regarding the Harun Masiku case.

The investigator who allegedly called Kusnadi was Rosa Purba Bekti. This figure is said to have used a mask and hat when calling Hasto's staff.

"So Kusnadi spontaneously entered the KPK building and went up to the second floor," he said.

"It turned out that after arriving on the second floor, a search was carried out and then the goods belonging to Kusnadi's brother and Mas Hasto Kristiyanto's cellphone were confiscated," continued the PDIP cadre.

This condition was then questioned by Ronny as a lawyer. He said, the process that seemed to be trapping showed that the investigators were not professional.

Investigators are said to not need to carry out this kind of trap. The claim is that there is nothing urgent, especially since Kusnadi is also tasked with accompanying Hasto, not being at large.

"And also remember that Article 38 of the confiscation Criminal Procedure Code must be in accordance with the permit from the local court. Even if it is forced, it must be carried out tomorrow," he explained.
