Kompol Rosa Reported To The KPK Council In The Aftermath Of Confiscation Of The PDIP Hasto HP

JAKARTA - Ronny Talapessy, who is the attorney for the staff of the PDI-P Secretary General (PDIP) Hasto Kristiyanto, Kusnadi, submitted a report to Police Commissioner Rosa Purba Bekti who was suspected of violating the rules to the KPK Supervisory Board today, Monday, June 10.

This was conveyed after submitting the report file to officers at the ACLC KPK building, Rasuna Said, South Jakarta. Commissioner Rosa Purba Bekti was accused of Ronny of not working professionally because he confiscated goods from his client without following the applicable regulations.

"We are the attorneys of Kusnadi's brother, today reporting investigators for unprofessionalism conducting searches and confiscation of goods belonging to Kusnadi's brother and PDIP Secretary General Mas Hasto Kristiyanto," Ronny told reporters, Monday, June 10.

Ronny explained that his client was framed by investigators during a search that led to confiscation. This is because Kusnandi, who is in the lobby of the KPK's Red and White Building, Kuningan Persada, South Jakarta, was suddenly asked to rise on the grounds that Hasto was summoned by Hasto, who was undergoing examination as a witness regarding the Harun Masiku case.

He said the investigator who allegedly called Kusnadi was Rosa Purba Bekti. This figure is said to have used a mask and hat when calling Hasto's staff.

"So Kusnadi spontaneously entered the KPK building and went up to the second floor," he said.

"It turned out that after arriving on the second floor, a search was carried out and then the goods belonging to Kusnadi's brother and Mas Hasto Kristiyanto's cellphone were confiscated," continued the PDIP cadre.

This condition was then questioned by Ronny as a lawyer. He said, the process that seemed to have shown the investigator was unprofessional.

Moreover, investigators do not feel the need to carry out this kind of trap. He claims that there is nothing urgent, especially since Kusnadi is also tasked with accompanying Hasto, not being at large.

"And also remember that Article 38 of the confiscation Criminal Procedure Code must be in accordance with the permit from the local court. Even if it is forced, it must be carried out tomorrow," he explained.

Furthermore, the KPK Council was asked to follow up on the report. Ronny stated that he would return to the building where the KPK Council was tasked with asking for his complaint.
