Latest Developments In Nurul Ghufron's Report On Members Of The Council To The Criminal Investigation Unit Of The Police

The National Police confirmed that they would handle the report of the Deputy Chairperson of the KPK, Nurul Ghufon, to members of the KPK Supervisory Board (Dewas). In fact, Bareskrim will later submit a Notification on the Development of Investigation Results (SP2HP) to the reporter.

"We will definitely receive every report we receive. Then later we will send the progress of the SP2HP to the reporter," said Karo Penmas, Police Public Relations Division, Brigadier General Trunoyudo Wisnu Andiko, to reporters, Monday, June 10.

However, it is not certain when the SP2HP will be sent to Ghufron. Trunoyudo only said that investigators would inform the progress of handling the case to related parties.

"Regarding this, the investigator's obligation will later provide SP2HP to the reporter," said Trunoyudo.

Nurul Ghufron reported the KPK Supervisory Board to the Criminal Investigation Unit of the Police. This report was carried out during the alleged ethical violation he committed because it was helping the transfer of employees at the Ministry of Agriculture (Kementan) is being investigated.

In handling the case, Deputy Chairman of the Corruption Eradication Commission (KPK) Alexander Marwata was one of the witnesses who had been clarified by the Criminal Investigation Unit of the Police.

Responding to the report, Tumpak Hatorangan Panggabean, chairman of the KPK Supervisory Board, admitted that he was surprised. This is because the investigation into alleged ethical violations committed by Ghufron should be proof that they have worked.

"Heran, that's right. We are all surprised. That's all. We were surprised because we carried out the mandate of the law as the appointed official," said Tumpak.
