Victim's Family Calls All Nite & Day Serpong Hotel Troubled

TANGERANG - The victim's family was surprised by the All Nite & Day Serpong Hotel, South Tangerang (Tangsel) who asked its employees to check the fire point immediately. Moreover, they used the inn elevator until they ended up trapped and died due to smoke radiation.

Desty Rahma, the brother of the dead victim, Oky Dwi Putra, questioned the hotel's Standard Operating Procedure (SOP).

"My sister, how can I take the elevator if there is a fire. I want to know about the safety SOP at the hotel. What I read at the social media is a problematic hotel. I asked the police to thoroughly investigate the case of a fire that claimed three lives to swarm." said Desty when confirmed, Monday, June 10

Furthermore, Desty also asked the hotel and police to check CCTV in the area.

"I ask for clarity openly. CCTV happened in the elevator while outside the elevator," he said.

The concern of the victim's family is increasing because the hotel did not offer any condolences at all.

"Even when we were at the hospital there were no condolences that we received, we could even check at the hotel IG (Instagram), there were no condolences," he concluded.

Three employees of the Allnite & Day Hotel, North Serpong, South Tangerang died in a fire that occurred on Saturday afternoon, June 8.

The victim died allegedly due to smoke radiation while trapped in a hotel elevator located in the Alam Sutera area, North Serpong, South Tangerang.

"The victims are hotel workers/employees including security, maintenance, and officeboy," said Danton Bravo Damkar, South Tangerang City, Nurudin when confirmed, Saturday night, June 9.

The identities of the 3rd victims who died included:

1. Dimas Hariyadi, a resident of Bojong RT 001 RW 010, Kunciran Indah Village, Pinang, Tangerang City.

2. Oky Dwi Putra, a resident of the Pepabri complex, Jalan Perintis 3 Block A5, Kunciran, Pinang District, Tangerang City.

3. Hendy Ruspandi, a resident of Priyang Village RT 011 RW 08, Pondok Corn Village, North Serpong.
