Turning History Back, SBY And AHY Sued By The Founder Of Democrats

JAKARTA - One of the founders of the Democratic Party, Hencky Luntung, stated that he would report Susilo Bambang Yudhoyono (SBY) and his eldest son Agus Harimurti Yudhoyono (AHY) to the Ministry of Law and Human Rights. SBY and AHY are considered to have reversed the facts regarding the history of the founding of the Democratic Party.

In fact, Hencky plans to bring the case to the National Police Headquarters. He considered that SBY and AHY were deceiving the public.

"There has been a distortion of history and forgery to take over the party that we founded," said Hencky in his statement, Sunday, March 14.

Hencky revealed that currently, he is still coordinating with Democrat cadres who feel disadvantaged. He said, sooner or later his party would definitely report AHY to the Ministry of Law and Human Rights

"This has a digital footprint," he said.

Hencky confirmed that he would gather all the founders and declarators of the Democrats to join in suing SBY and AHY. He will also bring the 2001 Democrat Party Statutes and Bylaws (AD/ART) which have been registered at the Ministry of Law and Human Rights.

Previously, eight Democratic cadres, through their attorneys, reported allegations of falsification of the Democratic AD/ART deed to the Police Criminal Investigation Unit. But this report was delayed because the police had to review the report files.

"One more thing, we just have to wait for the process. We are called back, related to that, we were invited to a discussion on Tuesday, regarding our complaint, it was received at that time. Our complaint was received and being processed. Will we continue, we will submit it to the police," said Rusdiansyah, a member of the legal team for 8 Democrat cadres, Friday, March 12.

This report was carried out because in the 2020 AD/ART deed SBY's name was listed as the founder of the Democratic Party. It is suspected that there are indications of forgery when compared to the 2001 certificate.
