RDP Commission IX Of The House Of Representatives Agrees With BPJS Health, DJSN And The Ministry Of Health To Form A Pokja Implementation Of KRIS

JAKARTA - BPJS Kesehatan, the National Social Security Council (DJSN), and the Ministry of Health (Kemenkes) along with other relevant stakeholders have agreed to form a Working Group (Pokja) for the Implementation of the Standard Inpatient Class (KRIS). The agreement was formed at the House of Representatives Commission IX Hearing Meeting with BPJS Health President Director Ali Ghufron Mukti, BPJS Council, DJSN Chairman Agus Suprapto and Deputy Minister of Health Dante Saksono Harbuwono at the Parliament Complex, Jakarta, Thursday 6 June. "We have held four meetings for this and agreed to make a working group between BPJS, DJSN, then Dewas (BPJS Kesehatan), and the Ministry of Health as well as several stakeholders, to make a working group on how to implement KRIS," Agus said, confiscated by Antara. Furthermore, Agus said that the existence of the pokja aims to ensure that the implementation of the KRIS system in the country can run properly. Basically, Agus said, the implementation of the KRIS has been mandated by laws and regulations since 20 years ago, namely through Law Number 40 of 2004 concerning the National Social Security System (SJSN). He also said that the existence of the KRIS system has a number of goals, including for the enforcement of social justice in the principles of National Health Insurance (JKN). In line with the mandate, Agus said DJSN is committed to continuing to monitor the progress of the implementation of KRIS. "We reiterate that DJSN is upright in what is mandated by law, will continue to monitor the implementation of KRIS," he said.

It is known that the implementation of the KRIS is a mandate of Law Number 40 of 2004 concerning the National Social Security System (SJSN). The goal is to provide equal health facilities and services for BPJS Health participants. Previously on the same occasion, Deputy Minister of Health (Wamenkes) Dante Saksono Harbuwono said that out of a total of 3,057 hospitals ready to implement the Standard Inpatient Class (KRIS), there were 2,316 hospitals that had met 12 or all the criteria of the class. "From our update survey, for the implementation of KRIS as of May 20, 2024, it turns out that 79.05 percent of the 12 criteria for KRIS (2.316 hospitals) have met the criteria for KRIS," said Dante. Meanwhile, there are 363 hospitals that meet 11 criteria for Class KRIS, 43 hospitals meet 10 criteria, 272 hospitals meet up to 9 criteria, and 63 hospitals that do not meet the criteria.
