KPK Checks 5 South Sulawesi Provincial Government Civil Servants, Tracing Nurdin Abdullah's Special Orders To Win Contractors

JAKARTA - The KPK investigating team continues the investigation by examining the non-active South Sulawesi (Sulsel) governor of corruption case witness, Nurdin Abdullah. There were 5 South Sulawesi provincial civil servants who were questioned by the KPK.

Acting Spokesperson for Supervisory Field of the Corruption Eradication Commission Ali Fikri said the examination of the five South Sulawesi Provincial Government civil servants was held at the South Sulawesi Police, Saturday, March 13. They were investigated in cases of bribery and gratification of goods and services procurement, licensing, and infrastructure development in South Sulawesi.

The five South Sulawesi Provincial Government civil servants being questioned were Samsuriadi, Herman Parudani, Andi Salmiati, Munandar Naim, and Abdul Muin.

"The KPK investigative team continues to explore, among other things, the auction for the Palampang-Munte-Botolempangan road project, which allegedly had a special order by the suspect NA (Nurdin Abdullah) through the ER suspect to win a certain contractor," said Ali Fikri, Sunday, March 14.

In this case, the KPK named three suspects, namely the inactive South Sulawesi Governor Nurdin Abdullah (NA), the Secretary of the South Sulawesi Public Works and Spatial Planning (PUTR), Edy Rahmat (ER), and Agung Sucipto (AS) as the contractor/Director of PT. Agung Perdana Bulukumba (APB).

Nurdin is suspected of receiving a total of IDR 5.4 billion, with details on February 26, 2021, receiving IDR 2 billion submitted through Edy from Agung.
