Allegedly Sick, Hajj Candidate From South Tangerang Dies In Makkah

TANGERANG - One pilgrim for Hajj from South Tangerang (Tangsel) named Amarto Abdullah Samin was declared dead at King Faisal Makkah Hospital, Saudi Arabia. The victim died allegedly due to illness.

Head of Hajj and Umrah Organizers of the South Tangerang Ministry of Religion, Rizki Waludin, confirmed the information. The incident occurred on Senjn, June 3, at 11.00 local time.

"It's true, one patient was declared dead," said Rizki when confirmed, Wednesday, June 5.

Rizki explained that the incident began when prospective Haji Amarto suddenly fainted in his room. On that basis, the nurse who was on guard at the location checked the victim's body.

"The nurse went straight to the room. When he entered the room, he found that the congregation had no response," he said.

Furthermore, the victim was resuscited by the Lung Heart (RJP) by a team of doctors to restore the function of circulation and breathing in the patient.

"Doctors and other nurses came and took turns by RJP, looking for access to the iv line and telephone TEMS (health transfer)," he said.

When the ambulance arrived at the location, the victim was immediately rushed to King Faisal Hospital, Makkah. He said that on the way, the actions of the RJP and Layngeal mask airway (LMA) were carried out again or a supraglostist breathing apparatus.

"At 11.13 local time, (patients) arrived at the ER RSAS, the resuscitation was continued by the emergency team at King Faisal Hospital," he said.

But unfortunately at 11.38 WIB, the team of Emergency United Doctors (UGD) of King Faisal Makkah Hospital stated that the prospective Hajj from South Tangerang had died.

"Patients were declared dead by the ER's doker," he said.
