JAKARTA - An unidentified man's body was found under the Thamrin Sub-Sector Police bridge, Menteng District, Central Jakarta, Tuesday, June 4. The victim is estimated to be 35 years old.

When found, the victim wore a black sweater, striped shorts and Converse black shoes.

The Head of Criminal Investigation Unit of the Menteng Metro Police, AKP Marganda, confirmed the incident. His party has collected data on victims and collected witnesses and deployed an Inafis team from the Central Jakarta Metro Police.

"The identification results show that there were wounds on the victim's body, as a result of being electrocuted in the right hand. It is suspected that he will steal the cable under the Thamrin sub-sector police bridge," said AKP Marganda to VOI, Tuesday, June 4.

This allegation was strengthened by the discovery of a number of tools belonging to the victim in the form of iron saws, pliers and plastic flashlights.

Based on witness Ahmad Jumali's testimony to the police, he found out when he was going to defecate under the Polsub-sector bridge.

"The witness saw that there was something suspicious thought to be garbage, after checking it, it was seen that someone was under the sub-sector police bridge wearing a pair of shoes and shorts," said Kanit.

For further processing, the victim's body was evacuated from under the Thamrin sub-sector police bridge by Iptu Aang Suryana (Thamrin sub-sector police chief) together with the PPSU Team, Gondangdia Village.

The victim's body was taken using a black bar to the RSCM. Meanwhile, the case is being handled by the Menteng Metro Police.
