12 Illegal Racing Operations Day In Semarang, Police Secure 161 Motorcycles And Hundreds Of Exhausts

JATENG - Police have secured 161 motorcycles in the last 12 days in an operation to take action against illegal racing and other traffic violations in various areas in Semarang, Central Java (Central Java). "For 12 days, 161 motorbikes and hundreds of exhausts were secured that were not in accordance with standards," said Head of the Semarang Polrestabes Traffic Unit AKBP Yunaldi in Semarang, Central Java, June 3, confiscated by Antara. According to him, the Semarang Polrestabes made more intensive efforts to prevent illegal racing, one of which was that the police came directly to the location according to public reports and took firm action. In addition, the police are also conducting cyber patrols to monitor community activities that may hold activities that do not comply with traffic regulations.

AKBP Yunaldi gave an example that cyber patrols were followed up with the action of activities by one of the communities suspected of leading to illegal racing. "Joint officers take action against the activities in question and secure dozens of motorbikes," he said. Kasatlantas emphasized that the activity of one of the motorcycle communities violated traffic regulations. "Please community hold activities. However, do not violate traffic regulations," he added. He said that the Semarang Polrestabes would not give place to the perpetrators of illegal racing or gangsters in the capital city of Central Java.
