Gambir Metro Police Chief Kompol Jamalinus Nababan said the disclosure of the money counterfeiting case began when hotel managers in the Gambir area found a bag containing a dollar deposit from room number 637 on May 26, 2024, at around 14.00 WIB.
Hotel managers immediately reported their findings to the Gambir Metro Police. After an investigation was carried out, it turned out that the counterfeit money belonged to a guest with the initials AW who is a foreign national (WNA) from Nigeria.
