Ahmad Sahroni's Reason For Being Canceled As Witness To The SYL Session Today

The General Treasurer of the NasDem Party, Ahmad Sahroni, has canceled being a witness to the trial of alleged extortion and acceptance of gratuities with the defendant former Minister of Agriculture Syahrul Yasin Limpo today.

The KPK prosecutor, Meyer Simanjuntak, said that Sahroni's reason for canceling his testimony was due to the focus of examining witnesses in the Investigation Report (BAP).

"Today, for certainty, we have postponed Mr. Ahmad Sahroni," Meyer told reporters, Wednesday, May 29.

In addition, based on the results of coordination with Sahroni, the Chairman of Commission III of the DPR is currently active today.

This is another reason that makes Sahroni unable to attend other things.

"Mr. Ahmad Sahroni himself conveyed through his staff who also through our staff that there were activities," Meyer said.

Head of the KPK News Section Ali Fikri previously said Sahroni would testify with four other people on Wednesday, May 29. He is an additional witness presented by the prosecutor team.

"Added with witnesses outside the case files that will be presented, namely Ahmad Sahroni," Ali told reporters at the KPK's Merah Putih building, Kuningan Persada, South Jakarta, Tuesday, May 28.

The other four witnesses presented were singer or singer, Nayunda Nabila Nizrinah; Laboratory Staff or Main Clinical Health Analysis, General Bureau and Procurement of the Ministry of Agriculture Yuli Yudiyani Wahyuningsih; driver at the Ministry of Agriculture Oky Anwar Djunaidi; and managing the household, Nur Habibih Al Majid.
