Diptong Employee Salaries For Tapera Deposits, Here Are The Details

The amount of Contributions for Participants in Public Housing Savings Workers (Tapera) from SOEs, Village-Owned Enterprises to private companies is regulated by the Minister of Manpower (Menaker) based on revisions or changes to PP Tapera. This is stated in the Government Regulation (PP) of the Republic of Indonesia Number 21 of 2024 concerning Amendments to PP Number 25 of 2O2O concerning the Implementation of Public Housing Savings.

"The basis for the calculation to determine the multiplication of the amount of the Participants' Deposit as referred to in paragraph (1) and paragraph (2) is carried out in accordance with the provisions of workers/laboring state-owned enterprises, regional-owned enterprises, village-owned enterprises, and private-owned enterprises regulated by the minister who organizes government affairs in the employment sector," as reads Article 15 paragraph 4b in a copy of the Government Regulation (PP) of the Republic of Indonesia Number 21 of 2024 reported by ANTARA, Monday, May 27.

What is meant in Article 15 paragraph 1, namely the amount of Participants' Deposit is set at 3 percent of Salaries or Wages for Workers and Income Participants for Independent Workers Participants. Meanwhile, in paragraph 2, namely the amount of Participants' Deposit as referred to in paragraph (1) for Workers' Participants is borne together by employers of 0.5 percent and workers of 2.5 percent.

Meanwhile, the amount of Tapera Contributions for Workers Participants from ASN according to Article 15 paragraph 4b is workers who receive Salaries or Wages sourced from the State Revenue and Expenditure Budget and regional income and expenditure budgets regulated by the minister who organizes government affairs in the financial sector (Menkeu) by coordinating with the minister who organizes government affairs in the use of state apparatus (Menpan RB).

The Tapera Contribution for Independent Workers Participants is 3 percent borne by Independent Workers, according to Article 15 paragraph 3.

Meanwhile, the amount of Tapera Contributions for Independent Workers Participants as regulated by Article 15 paragraph 5a is the basis for calculations to determine the multiplication of the amount of Independent Worker Participants as referred to in paragraph (3) calculated from the reported income.

For information, before there was a change to Government Regulation No. 25 of 2020. The contributions of Tapera Worker Participants from SOEs to the private sector are regulated by ministries or government agencies, such as Tapera Participants from SOEs regulated by the Minister of SOEs, then participants from Regional Owned Enterprises are regulated by the Regional Government and the Minister of Home Affairs.

Then participants from village-owned business entities whose contributions are regulated by the Minister of Villages to the Tapera Worker Participants Contributions from private companies are regulated by the Minister of Manpower.
