"God willing, these 1,000 scholars will attend this year's Ijtima Ulama," said Deputy Chairman of the MUI Fatwa Commission Prof. Dr. H Abdulrahman Dahlan after attending the coordination meeting to prepare for securing the working visit of Vice President Ma'ruf Amin in Pangkalpinang as reported by ANTARA, Wednesday, May 22.
Ijtima Ulama VIII in Sungailiat, Bangka Regency will open Vice President Ma'ruf Amin and 1,000 scholars throughout Indonesia will participate.
"Currently, some scholars have confirmed their presence, but some of them still have problems attending this year's Ijtima Ulama in Sungailiat," said Abdulrahman.
