Central Java Police arrested two illegal motorbike collectors from the Central Java region who were to be sent abroad.

Central Java Police Chief Inspector General Ahmad Luthfi said 80 motorbikes ready to be sent to Vietnam were secured in the disclosure.

The two perpetrators arrested, namely S (38) and A (39) residents of Demak Regency, are collectors of motorbikes resulting from fiduciary crimes that will be sent abroad.

"This perpetrator bought a motorcycle whose credit has not been paid off at a low price," he said as quoted by ANTARA, Tuesday, May 21.

The motorcycle, he said, was then modified so that it looked like a new vehicle.

The vehicles were then taken to Surabaya for delivery to Vietnam.

The suspect, he continued, was looking for the vehicle he was aiming for through social media that offered to buy and sell motorbikes.

The perpetrators took a profit of around Rp. 1.5 million from each unit sold.

For their actions, the suspects were charged with Article 480 or 481 of the Criminal Code concerning criminals.
