AHY Appreciates Jokowi Introducing Elected President Prabowo At WWF Bali 2024

JAKARTA - Minister of Agrarian Affairs and Spatial Planning/Head of the National Land Agency (ATR/BPN) Agus Harimurti Yudhoyono (AHY) revealed that a good national leadership transition provides certainty in the political and economic aspects.

"This gives confidence that in the political and economic aspects, certainty, beliefs like this are very important to build confidence for the market, but also for all stakeholders involved in making decisions as well as in the economy, investment and so on," AHY told reporters at the 10th World Water Forum (WWF) event in Nusa Dua, Bali on Monday, May 20, confiscated by Antara.

He appreciated the President of the Republic of Indonesia Joko Widodo for introducing the elected president Prabowo Subianto to world leaders and global figures such as Elon Musk at the 2024 WWF Bali international event.

"Something very noble in my opinion, it is also a tribute as well as a message to the international community that Indonesia as a democratic country certainly respects all processes and when the election political process ends, the presidential election, we respect the results, and at the same time enter into a good transition mode," he said.

This, he continued, was exemplified so wisely by the President of the Republic of Indonesia Joko Widodo to the elected president Prabowo Subianto so that the people of Indonesia, and also the people of the world, have the belief that at time there will be a transition of national leadership that will affect various aspects of state administration, but also in the management of world issues.

"What we know is that water is an issue, the world, land, economy is an issue of the world and so on. Therefore, by introducing it at once there is also a very strong sentence that next leader, the next president, Mr. Prabowo Subianto, will continue to have a commitment to provide solutions to the world's water issue," said AHY.

For information, President Joko Widodo (Jokowi) introduced the elected Indonesian president Prabowo Subianto to invited guests and delegates who were present at the opening ceremony of the 10th WWF Summit (KTT) in Bali, Monday, May 20.
