The sadistic gang of robbers who were arrested by the Jatanras Sub-Directorate of the Ditreskrimum Polda Metro Jaya is known to be a syndicate from Banten, precisely in Pandeglang.

"Of the 4 perpetrators, all came from Pandeglang, Banten," said Head of Sub-Directorate for Jatanras Ditreskrimum Polda Metro Jaya AKBP Rovan Richard Mahenu at the Kramat Police Hospital, Thursday, May 16.

The total number of robbers in a gang that robbed a prospective NCO student named Satrio Mukti Raharjo (18) amounted to 5 perpetrators.

Of the five perpetrators, there are different roles. Three main actors, one perpetrator selling motorbikes and one perpetrator who bought the stolen motorbike.

Based on witness testimony and CCTV, the perpetrator deliberately followed the victim.

"The gang of perpetrators deliberately followed the victim, for a while and was covered (screened) by several CCTVs. After the situation was quiet, the perpetrator grabbed the victim and carried out the action," he said.

Meanwhile, according to the perpetrators' confessions to the police, they have carried out the burglary 3 times.

"After the arrest on Wednesday, May 15 at around 2 am. We will develop it to several points according to the perpetrator's confession," he said.

However, during the development, the perpetrator resisted the police so that decisive action was taken, causing 1 person to die.

"2 people who tried to run, we shot them in the leg," he said.

Furthermore, the Ditreskrimum Polda Metro Jaya also formed an Anti-Begal Timsus due to rampant robbery on the streets.

"We appeal to all criminals, we will take firm action against the perpetrators of the robbery. Because of the Polda Metro Jaya's commitment to provide a sense of security, comfort for the existing people," he said.

Previously, it was reported that Polda Metro Jaya shot dead one suspect in the executor of a robbery with the initials PN who slashed the victim Satrio Mukti Raharjo (18), a prospective student (casis) of the National Police Officer while on his way to the location of the NCO psychological test on Jalan Arjuna Utara, Kebon Jeruk District, West Jakarta.
