East Jakarta Sub-Department Of Transportation Ordered 9 Illegal Jukir In Minimarkets By Providing Statements

The joint officers of the East Jakarta Transportation Sub-dept. (Sudinhub) have brought control of illegal parking attendants (Jukir) in 9 minimarkets in the East Jakarta area on Wednesday, May 15.

The control took place from 09.00 WIB to 12.00 WIB. One by one the minimarkets where there were illegal jukir were visited by joint officers from the Transportation Agency, Satpol PP, TNI and Polri.

However, this control was carried out persuasively, namely the jukir only received a written statement. Officers do not provide a deterrent effect for illegal jukir who often ask for parking money from visitors at minimarkets.

Head of East Jakarta Transportation Sub-dept., Renny, said that the activities carried out by his party were in the context of controlling illegal jukir at Alfamart, Indomaret and Alfamidi in the East Jakarta area.

"The sanctions are still in the process of being discussed. For this time, we will give a statement to the illegal jukir at Alfamart, Indomaret, and Alfamidi," Renny told VOI at the location, Wednesday, May 15, afternoon.

Dalam penertiban kali ini, sanksi yang diberikan kepada jukir liar dengan penindakan pembuatan surat pernyataan saja.

"The action against the jukir that is not appropriate is made a statement that further sanctions will be given if it is still not carried out in accordance with the rules," he said.

The number of joint personnel deployed is 60 people. The illegal jukir control activity at the minimarket will be carried out from Wednesday, May 15 to next June.

"The control location is carried out randomly. For today, it will be carried out in nine locations, the road withers, youth roads, nationalities and others," he said.

Responding to the control of the illegal jukir carried out by the joint officer, Afrinto, a wild jukir in the Rawamangun area said he supports the government's program. However, he said, the government must also provide solutions.

"I follow the rules. Even though I'm not illegal parking, I'm assigned to the one who owns this place. So the term is that visitors give me a accept. If visitors don't give it, I don't ask," he added.
