JAKARTA - The practice of illegal parking in the area in front of the Istiqlal Mosque, Sawah Besar District, Central Jakarta has always escaped supervision. As a result, until now the existence of illegal parking in the area continues to thrive.

"This has been investigated since last year, until now we are conducting an investigation, but no one has become a victim directly and then reported it to the Sawah Besar Police," said Sawah Besar Police Chief Kompol Dhanar Dhono Vernandhie, Monday, May 13.

The difficulty of illegal parking is eradicated because the Sawah Besar Police have limited authority. Regarding traffic violations, he continued, it has been explained in the Traffic Unit.

"Because at first there was a traffic violation, around this (ahead of the Cathedral) is a no-parking zone," he said.

"Will there be a follow-up to the issue of expertise in the future? Because the upstream must be fixed (improved). If it is downstream, it will continue," he added.

Until now, the Sawah Besar Police are still waiting for reports of victims of burglary from the illegal parking case in front of the Istiqlal Mosque.

"If anyone feels they are victims of bullying, when it is reported, we will definitely follow up," he said.

The police chief appealed to the public who had been victims related to the alleged perpetrators, to wait for the report to the Sawah Besar Police.

Meanwhile, from the confession of the jukir with the initials AB (49) and J (26) who were arrested by the Sawah Besar Police after going viral, it was discovered that there were several groups that carried out their operations in the area.

"We are still investigating who will control his activities. We are currently investigating the groups first. The problem is that if someone feels they are victims and then reports it will be easier for us to make disclosures," he said.

The results of the investigation by the Sawah Besar Police, in the illegal parking lot in front of the Istiqlal Mosque, there are other groups whose duties are shifts.

So that thugs often take advantage of the situation by using the road for illegal parking of car vehicles to tourism buses.
