2 Robbers Of Student Murder Unamin Sorong Arrested

Sorong City Police revealed the murder case of a final semester student at Muhammadiyah University (Unamin) Sorong, West Papua, Ferianto (23) with the arrest of two perpetrators, each with the initials EN and MS.

Sorong City Police Chief KombesHappy Perdana Yudianto, explained that among the two perpetrators who had been arrested, 17-year-old man.

"So 1x24 hours after this incident, our team moved to collect evidence and managed to arrest the two perpetrators in different locations," Happy said as quoted by ANTARA, Monday, May 6.

The police chief explained the chronology of the incident that began with the two perpetrators EN and MS who at that time went to the Malanu complex to consume alcoholic beverages, then returned home to meet the victim who was looking for his missing motorbike around the Malanu complex.

The perpetrator then offered the victim to look for the motorbike. Then the three of them rode both motorbikes to Mount DoserMalanu to look for the victim's two-wheeled vehicle.

"Arriving at Mount Doser, the two perpetrators tried to search the victim to look for valuables, but the victim resisted," he explained.

The perpetrator MS, who was carrying a modified screwdriver with the busi key, stabbed the victim in the back of the neck once.

"After facing the perpetrator, the victim tried to escape to her original place, but met the two perpetrators. Not long after, in the morning the victim was found dead," said Happy.

Happy said that the results of the crime scene were carried out and the examination of witnesses at the crime scene referred to the two names.

"The suspects were finally arrested even though one of the suspects tried to escape," he said.
