374 Health Workers In Mukomuko Cancels COVID-19 Vaccines

JAKARTA - A total of 374 health workers (health workers) in Mukomuko District, Bengkulu canceled their participation in the COVID-19 vaccination for health reasons. This was conveyed by the local Health Office

"As many as 374 health workers in this area canceled the first dose of COVID-19 vaccination or three more people compared to 371 people a few days ago," said Mukomuko Bustam Bustomo, spokesman for the COVID-19 Task Force in Mukomuko District, Bustam Bustomo, in his statement in Mukomuko. Bustam Bustomo, who is also the Secretary of the Mukomuko District Health Office, said the data was based on a recapitulation report on the results of the implementation of COVID-19 vaccination in 20 COVID-19 vaccination service posts, namely 17 Community Health Center, Regional Public Hospital and Medical Service.

He explained that the cause of 374 health workers who canceled their participation in the COVID-19 vaccination was because they experienced various diseases and a number of health workers had not been able to receive the COVID-19 vaccine because of their illness.

"Based on the results of screening dozens of health workers and local government officials have a history of various diseases, so they are not recommended to participate in the COVID-19 vaccination," he said.

He said that until now 1,381 health workers in this area had registered 99.42 percent of the target of 1,389 people.

Of that target, 104 health workers were postponed to receive the first dose of the COVID-19 vaccine, because their health conditions made it impossible to receive the vaccine.

He said 1,389 health workers in this area were targeted for COVID-19 vaccination, an increase of two people compared to the previous 1,387 people.

"Vaccinators spread across 19 COVID-19 vaccination service posts will continue to provide vaccination services to targeted health workers," he said.
