Due To The Reckless Angkot Driver, The Transjakarta Bus Becomes A Collision Victim At Pasar Rebo

JAKARTA - A traffic accident between Transjakarta buses and city transportation (angkot) occurred on Jalan TB Simatupang, Pasar Rebo, East Jakarta (Jaktim), Wednesday, May 1 in the morning.

The Transjakarta driver, Pitor, explained that the incident began when the angkot was red and brown to beat the bus he was driving.

According to him, the vehicle drove recklessly when it overtook and stopped instantly in front of the Transjakarta bus. The accident was inevitable, the Transjakarta bus driver touched the angkot's butt bound for Kampung Rambutan-Depok.

After the incident, the angkot driver got out of the vehicle. Then he fled leaving his angkot at the scene.

"It's 'drunk' (red public transportation) being chased, he left (this is angkot). Escaped," he said.

Luckily Pitor was not driving with passengers. So there were no casualties in this incident.

"The loss is only material, there are no injuries," he concluded.
