BTN Bank Masses And Customers Disband: "Tomorrow We Will Go Down Again If The Problem Is Not Over"

JAKARTA - Hundreds of demonstrators began to gradually disperse from Bank BTN Harmoni, Gambir District, Central Jakarta on Tuesday, April 30, evening.

"We first secure the tires and attributes of action, everything is taken. Because if today is not finished, tomorrow we will go down (action demonstration) again," said the orator through a loudspeaker.

From VOI's observation at the location, they were seen removing a banner attached to the BTN Bank office, a red plate. The crowd also collected used combustion tires at the location.

The demonstration took place on Tuesday morning at around 10:00 WIB. The crowd who attended continued to voice their demands in front of the BTN Harmoni Tower lobby, Central Jakarta.

In this case, there were 4 customers who were harmed by the total loss of tens of billions. The crowd also boycotted the BTN Harmoni Tower building area with used tire combustion.

The masses were furious because they felt there was no good faith from BTN towards customers whose money was allegedly lost to tens of billions.

Previously, it was reported that the BTN Harmoni Bank building was covered in thick black smoke from burning tires by masses who were dissatisfied with Bank BTN's attitude towards their demands. The crowd also boycotted access to the BTN building with flames on Tuesday, April 30, noon.

"We are not playing with Bank BTN, because there are also a lot of customer funds that have been lost. Like bakarr, Bakarr. We boycott BTN," said one of the orators of the command car.

The fire from the tire burning began at 13.00 WIB. The tire burning was carried out at three different locations. The puff of smoke had isolated access to BTN Bank visitors.

In fact, black smoke that soared in the air also had time to make Harmoni's intersection covered in black and dark smoke.

Action coordinator Gregorius Upi said that billions of rupiah had been lost since saving at Bank BTN two years ago. This case has been reported to Polda Metro Jaya and Bareskrim Polri.
