Jambi Residents In Pijoan Village Receive Profits For Trans Sumatra Toll Land Acquisition Fund

JAMBI - Dozens of Jambi residents in Pijoan Village, Jambi Luar Kota District, Muarojambi Regency, received land acquisition funds for the Trans Sumatra Palembang-Jambi Toll Road for session 4. The construction of this toll road starts from Tempino (Muarojambi) to Pematung (Batanghari). Pijoan Village Head Susilawati said dozens of residents in Pijoan suddenly became billionaires after receiving the land acquisition money. "Currently, almost all land acquisition money has been paid to the public by the government," he said as quoted by Antara, Tuesday, April 30. Susilawati said that so far it had arrived at the third stage to pay for land acquisition owned by the community. He also ensured that there were no obstacles in fulfilling the government's obligations even though there were a number of lands that had not been acquired. The local community also admitted that they were happy to receive the compensation money and some of them would use the money for productive needs. One of the residents of Pijoan, Muhammad Tarmizi, said that the money he received was used to buy garden land in other areas. Meanwhile, the Trans Sumatra toll road work in Jambi will soon be continued to the 4 Tempino-Pijoan session because almost all compensation money has been paid to the public and until now the realization of the trans Sumatra toll road work in Jambi continues to progress positively in the third session in the tempino area with a progress of 72 percent.

In the near future, the toll road work will be continued to session four, namely from Tempino to Pijoan.
