Anies Is Considered A National Leader Level, PKS: Gives An Opportunity To Deliver Our Cadres As Governor Of DKI

Secretary General of the Prosperous Justice Party (PKS) Aboe Bakar Alhabsyi said Anies Baswedan was more suitable to be considered a national figure. Thus, he is more suitable to take his cadres to the position of DKI 1.

This was conveyed by Aboe when asked about the PKS opportunity to support Anies in the DKI Jakarta gubernatorial election. He said the cadres assessed that the former governor of DKI Jakarta was now at the national level rather than in the regions.

"We from PKS said Pak Anies had 25 percent as a national figure. Give the opportunity now Anies takes the pks people to become (Governor of DKI Jakarta, ed)," Aboe told reporters at the PKS DPP Office, South Jakarta, Saturday, April 27.

Even so, this condition will certainly see the existing political dynamics. However, Aboe said that PKS had prepared its cadres such as the President of PKS, namely Ahmad Syaikhu, Sohibul Iman, a former PKS President, and Member of the Indonesian House of Representatives Mardani Ali Sera.

"But we'll see later. These dialogues are political dynamics that are developing, yes, right. We'll just have to wait," he said.

"Indeed, DKI is the most exciting, yes, the atmosphere is the most rich in the presidential election," continued Aboe.

Meanwhile, the NasDem Party actually offered Anies to run in the DKI Jakarta gubernatorial election. The chairman of the NasDem Party DPP Willy Aditya even called it a top priority.

"Yes, Mas Anies' priority is top priority," he said at the same location.

However, NasDem also prepared other names to anticipate Anies refusing the offer. They include the General Treasurer of NasDem Ahmad Sahroni and Wibi Andrino, the Chairman of the DKI Jakarta NasDem DPW.

"After all, if we don't go forward, we are also ready for alternatives that we have tried to do," said Willy.

"So whatever Mas Anies' decision, we support him because he is a political asset inside, both Jakarta and nationally. We'll wait for Mas Anies' own attitude," he concluded.
