Thousands Of Bus Passengers From Outside Jakarta Arrive At Kampung Rambutan Terminal

The arrival of inter-city inter-provincial (AKAP) bus passengers at Kampung Rambutan Terminal, East Jakarta, still looks crowded, Thursday, April 18.

In fact, the Eid holiday time has ended but the passengers are still arriving from outside the city of Jakarta.

Currently, the number of backflows arriving at this terminal reaches 3,211 passengers. Monitoring in the field, dozens of AKAP buses on Eid transportation arrived at the Kampung Rambutan Bus Terminal.

Passengers disembarked on arrival routes and they continued their journey by in-city transportation, such as Jak Lingko, TransJakarta buses and other types of public transportation.

Head of the Kampung Rambutan Bus Terminal, Yulza Ramadhoni, said that there were still many residents arriving from a number of areas after the Eid holiday. Especially from West Java, Central Java and its surroundings.

"The number of arrivals at the Kampung Rambutan Bus Terminal is 3,211 passengers. They came using 181 buses for Eid transportation," he said when confirmed, Thursday, April 18.

According to him, the number of backflows recorded from April 12 to 16, reached 11,887 passengers who were transported using 474 buses.

It is certain that this number will continue to grow because the prediction is that this backflow will still occur until April 18 today. This is in accordance with the validity period of the operation of the Eid transportation post in the terminal area.

The reason is, the Eid transportation post at the DKI Provincial level and the Ministry of Transportation ends on Thursday, April 18, 2024 today.
