PDI-P Secretary General Hasto Kristiyanto emphasized that PDIP General Chair Megawati Soekarnoputri would not accept a meeting with President Joko Widodo for halal bihalal after Eid al-Fitr 1445. Megawati, according to Hasto, will not hold a meeting with parties who are considered to have harmed democracy. As is known, the 2024 presidential election dispute in the Constitutional Court was filled with a fraud lawsuit, one of which was Jokowi's nepotism to win Prabowo-Gibran. "We are a bulwark of democracy. Thus, meetings are only held for people who fight for the interests of the nation and state, the sovereignty of the people is fighting for democracy," said Hasto at the Constitutional Court building, Tuesday, April 16. Hasto also denied the video of Megawati's meeting with Jokowi that was circulating recently. In the video, Megawati and Jokowi are narrated to meet during Eid al-Fitr this year. "I also want to clarify that the video circulating about the meeting between Mrs. Mega and Mr. Jokowi during Eid is not true at all. There is no meeting," he said. On that occasion, Hasto revealed that Megawati is now an amicus of stealing or a court friend in the 2024 presidential election case at the Constitutional Court. Hasto handed over the amicus theft document today or a week before the Constitutional Court issued a decision. Separately, Presidential Special Staff Coordinator Ari Dwipayana said President Jokowi was open to meeting anyone. Moreover, a figure who is a national figure.
