US Intelligence Calls In The Near Future Iran's Attack On Israel Coming Soon

JAKARTA - Citing sources in US intelligence in a Bloomberg report, Iran's attack on Israel is imminent. Other US media Wall Street Journal (WSJ) even stated the attack would take place in the next 48 hours.

The WSJ quoted a source as saying the attack might have taken place within Israeli territory.

The WSJ made a report citing someone briefed by the Iranian regime leadership. He stated that no final decision had yet been made, but plans for an attack have been discussed.

The attack was a response to alleged Israeli airstrikes on the Iranian consulate building in Damascus, Syria, which killed several members of the Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps Quds Forces, earlier this month. Tehran later publicly threatened to retaliate for the attack.

Iran's Revolutionary Guard Corps (IRGC) earlier this week contacted the country's supreme leader Ayatollah Ali Khamenei with the option of attacking Israeli interests.

The WSJ, citing an adviser to paramilitary forces, also said that in recent hours, social media accounts linked to the IRGC posted a video showing simulated missile strikes against Israel's Haifa airport north of the country, and a nuclear facility in Dimona in the south.

The report also states that Khamenei is currently considering its political risks, with the possibility of retaliating Israel and its US allies against Iran's strategic infrastructure.

There is also a scenario for Iran's attacks by utilizing their allies in Iraq and Syria, or attacking Israeli embassies in other countries, especially those located in Arab countries.

Meanwhile Israel insists that it will respond to any Iranian attacks. Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu stated that anyone who harms his country will be rewarded with harm to them.
