JAKARTA - A video showing Sharon Milan as a victim of domestic violence (KDRT) for eight years of her marriage has gone viral on social media. In the CCTV footage uploaded by celebrity Richard Lee through his personal Instagram account @dr.richard_lee on Thursday 11 April, you can see a tragic scene where Sharon's husband abused her.

In a statement accompanying the video upload, Sharon revealed that apart from being a victim of domestic violence, her husband has also been having an affair for the past two years. This case has attracted the attention of a famous lawyer, Hotman Paris Hutapea, who asked for attention from the Banyuwangi City Police and the East Java Police Chief Inspector General Imam Sugianto in handling this alleged domestic violence case.

Hotman Paris Hutapea said he would meet Sharon on Friday, April 12 at a restaurant in South Jakarta. He also used his social media platform to voice justice for Sharon and urged law enforcement on the case.

The Banyuwangi Police's response was not too late. They claim to have investigated this case and have secured a number of evidences and examined a number of witnesses.
