1,233 Joint Officers Guard In And Out Of The Constitutional Court Building Ahead Of The PHPU Session

A total of 1,233 joint personnel from the Central Jakarta Metro Police were deployed to provide security at the inside and outside the Constitutional Court (MK) building ahead of the preliminary hearing on the Dispute on the Results of the General Election (PHPU) of the President and Vice President in 2024.

Central Jakarta Metro Police Chief Kombes Susatyo Purnomo Condro said that his party was ready to secure the PHPU trial at the Constitutional Court building.

"We from the police will also prepare certain locations for the delivery of people's aspirations. We deploy 1,233 joint personnel," said Kombes Susatyo when confirmed, Wednesday, March 27.

Kombes Susatyo appealed to residents who will convey their aspirations this afternoon to pay attention to the rights of other communities.

"We urge anyone who will express their opinions in public, as stipulated in the law on conveying the opinion of the rights of every citizen. Of course, it must pay attention to other public rights, so that the rules in the law on expressing opinions in public, please obey them," he said.

Kombes Susatyo also instructed his staff to be humane in securing the Constitutional Court building.

"To all personnel involved in security to always act persuasively, not provoked, prioritizing negotiations, services and humaneism," he said.
