Sahroni Urges Police To Investigate PPATK Findings Regarding Ivan Sugianto

Deputy Chairman of Commission III of the DPR Ahmad Sahroni urged the police to thoroughly investigate the findings of the Financial Transaction Reports and Analysis Center (PPATK) regarding alleged illegal financial activities carried out by Ivan Sugianto.

This was conveyed by Sahroni after visiting Ivan Sugianto at the Surabaya Police, last Saturday. During the meeting, Sahroni reminded Ivan and also all parents to be mature in solving the problems that befell children.

"The message to all parents, including for me, that we as parents must be able to solve problems maturely. If there are things that happen in the realm of law, please take legal action, not playing on our own. So for the Ivan case, just investigate it thoroughly. Including the findings of the PPATK, yesterday there were indications of financial crime. So please continue to investigate," said Sahroni, quoted by ANTARA, Sunday, November 17.

Sahroni also appealed to parents to educate their children not to make bullying a normal thing.

"And now, I see that the children are bullying others. They think it's cool, or feel more powerful. Now as parents, we must educate our children so that they don't act like that because bullying is already a crime, there is a crime. It's not just delinquency that can be tolerated," he said.

Finally, Sahroni hopes that all parties can always hold back in accordance with existing regulations.

"For parents, for children, whoever it is, feelings of emotion must sometimes come to us, their names are also human, but please never go too far, remember this is a state of law," said Sahroni.

PPATK head Ivan Yustiavandana, on Thursday (14/11/2024), said that his party had blocked Ivan Sugianto's account regarding the Surabaya Spectacle. PPATK said the blocking was related to several cases and is still in the process of being analyzed.
