JAKARTA - Wales princess Kate Middleton and her husband Prince William were touched by the flowing support after she announced a cancer diagnosis and routinely underwent treatment.
Kate made the statement in a video footage filmed from Windsor Castle on Wednesday, March 20.
"Princess and women are deeply touched by the message, both from people in the UK, across the Commonwealth and around the world in response to Your Majesty's message," a spokesman for the Kensington Palace said on Saturday, March 23, quoted by Reuters, Sunday, March 24.
"They are deeply touched by the warmth and support of the public and are grateful for the understanding of their current privacy request," continued the spokesman.
On Friday 22 March, Kate revealed that she had undergone preventive chemotherapy after tests conducted at a large stomach surgery site in January revealed that there had been cancer.
