Sahroni Soal Maju Pikada DKI: Tidak Maju Kecuali Ditunjuk Ketua Umum

General treasurer of the NasDem Party Ahmad Sahroni said he did not run for the Jakarta gubernatorial election (Pilgub).

This was conveyed by Sahroni when asked by the General Chairperson of the NasDem Party, Surya Paloh, who preferred to approve him to run in the DKI gubernatorial election rather than nominate former DKI Jakarta Governor Anies Baswedan. He said that so far he had not thought about participating in the contest as regional head.

"No. I'm not running," Sahroni told reporters at the KPK's Red and White Building, Kuningan Persada, South Jakarta, Friday, March 22.

However, this situation could have changed when he was appointed by Surya Paloh. As long as there is a decree, Sahroni will certainly follow.

"Unless I have paper from the general chairman appointed to the DKI gubernatorial election. (This right, red) doesn't exist," he said.
