Sahroni Confirms Prabowo Will Visit NasDem Tower Later In The Afternoon, What To Discuss?

The General Treasurer of the NasDem Party, Ahmad Sahroni, confirmed that the elected presidential candidate who is also the General Chair of the Gerindra Party, Prabowo Subianto, will visit NasDem Tower today, Friday, March 22.

This was conveyed by Sahroni after he underwent an examination at the KPK's Red and White Building, Kuningan Persada, South Jakarta. He was questioned as a witness to the alleged crime of money laundering (TPPU) of former Minister of Agriculture (Mentan) Syahrul Yasin Limpo.

"Prabowo wants to go to the NasDem Party (office, red)? Yes, later at 13.30," Sahroni told reporters at the location.

Sahroni has not yet detailed the meeting. He only quoted the statement by the General Chairperson of the NasDem Party, Surya Paloh, the most important thing right now is the interests of the nation.

"There was already an answer from Pak Surya yesterday, not a priority but the interest is in the national interest of the NasDem Party," he said.

Meanwhile, when asked about the disappointment of former DKI Jakarta Governor Anies Baswedan because of the political steps taken by NasDem, Sahroni did not want to talk much. Sahroni said that attitude is common.

It is known that the NasDem Party is the bearer of Anies Baswedan as a presidential candidate in the 2024 presidential election. After the winner of the presidential election was delivered, this party chose to congratulate the number two pair, Prabowo Subianto-Gibran Rakabuming Raka.

Meanwhile, Anies, who was paired with Muhaimin Iskandar or Cak Imin, chose to file a lawsuit with the Constitutional Court. The AMIN national team's legal team registered on Thursday, March 21 yesterday.

"Yes, it's normal (if someone, ed) to be disappointed," he said briefly.

As previously reported, the General Chairperson of the NasDem Party, Surya Paloh, stated that he received the results of the 2024 General Election count conducted by the KPU. Both the results of the calculation of legislative elections and the presidential and vice presidential elections.
